Le Parole che non ti ho detto…

(English version below)

Why such a title: “A Thai Pianist”?

Maybe because now that I am 30, I’ve admit to my self that my real Father was a Pianist.
Maybe because, when I was little, I always wished to play the Piano.
Maybe because, every time I see a Piano, I always have this great desire
to press the keys.

I really do not know the reason why.
All I know is that when I hear the sound of a Piano, I am just speechless, as if hypnotized, just like the enchanting singings of the mermaids used to spellbound
the brave Ulysse.

When I was a teenager, I used to be ashamed of myself, of my passions, of my origins.

Today, that I am a grown up, I don’t want to feel ashamed anymore.
Today,  that I am a grown up, I actually admit to myself that I am daughter of a Pianist.
Today,  that I am a grown up, I will no longer deny the existance of this Person.

Indeed, I like to make believe that he still is alive, somewhere out there in the World.
I like to make believe that, wherever he may be, he might be there,
playing that good-old Piano.

Who knows, maybe one day, I may refind him, following the sweet notes
of his playing…
Or maybe it could be He who finds me, recalled by the title of this blog…
